How to teach daily positive affirmations for young children?
Positive affirmations can be implemented into your daily routines. You can print out positive affirmations cards for kids and place them on the mirror, bathroom, bedroom, entryway, self-care station or on the refrigerator. Another great way to help teach positive affirmations is to lead by example and read the affirmations aswell. It’s fun to repeat the affirmations together. This works great, and affirmations used at a young age creates a strong and healthy foundation.
Looking in the mirror
Our favorite way to do positive affirmations is looking in the mirror and self talk and be kind to ourself by saying our affirmations. These positive word are building your child’s own self-belief.
Repeating affirmations
For young children, it is best that you do the affirmations with them. Have them repeat self-affirming words with confidence. I’ve been enjoying doing affirmations with my daughter because not only am I helping her affirm her belief, it’s also affirming my belief and they allow me to become more aware of my thought patterns and feelings.
